Obtaining bitcoins

There are a couple different methods to obtain Bitcoins. Some of the methods will require money investment, some time investment and so on... So lets get started right away.

1. Buying Bitcoins

This way is probably mostly used way to get Bitcoins. You can buy Bitcoins pretty much everywhere. One of the best websites this moment is Bitstamp. There are many other websites, a quick google search of "buy Bitcoins" will give you millions of results.

2. Mining Bitcoins

This is the method that requires money investment. You can "mine" Bitcoins with special equipment designed for this task. Basically you buy mining equipment, configure it, power it on and here you go, you are now mining Bitcoins. If you want to give mining a go, you have to keep in mind that there is also electricity to be paid :) One of the best mining equipment provider right now is BitMainTech. If you are not sure how this all works or how to configure your mining equipment properly you can simply use Google or Bitcointalk forum.

3. Generating Bitcoins

If you do not have money to buy Bitcoins or mining equipment, then this method may be well suited for you. For this you only need a computer and internet connection. All you have to do, is to download bitcoin generator, start it, enter all information and watch it generate Bitcoins for you. The best Bitcoin generator we were able to find is btc4gen. We have been running it for 2 weeks, and we averaged 0.35 Bitcoins per day. Not bad if you think there is no investment needed.

4. Working for Bitcoins

Welcome to Bitcoin tips 101 blog!

So for the first post I would like to warmly welcome everyone interested in Bitcoin and everyone else who is just getting in the amazing world of Bitcoin!

On this blog you will find all information about Bitcoin and other closely related fields. I would also like to encourage everyone to post comments, suggestions or to just say hello :)

Ok, so what actually is Bitcoin? I will try to explain it in as simple terms as I can for everyone to understand.

So in the simplest terms Bitcoin is a digital currency. But there is so much more to it, so keep reading. Bitcoin is a digital currency that allows everyone that is using it to send (pay, donate or whatever) money online. There are many benefits using Bitcoin over any payment system including next to zero transaction fees, anonymous transactions and much more.

That basically means that you can pay for goods, services or send money to your friends, family without paying any transaction fee that most modern payment systems charge today. That makes Bitcoin much more convinient to use, it is also very easy and safe.

Now you might be asking yourself where does Bitcoins come from? Well...its a complex process but I will try to explain it in simple terms. Bitcoins are beeing generated by a very fast computers performing many calculations per second. So the faster the computers, the faster they generate Bitcoins. In the past that was done by the GPUs (video cards), but today there are special devices called "miners" designed for just that, generating (mining) Bitcoins. If you would like to read more on generating, so called mining Bitcoins read HERE.

Now you know where do Bitcoins come from, next time we will talk about different ways of getting some Bitcoins. As the Bitcoin is in its early stages, we believe that it will increase in popularity, usability and in general a lot, so we would like to infrom as many of you as we can so that you can get in the world of Bitcoin too :)

Ok, that is all for my first blog post, please let me know in the comments how did I do, what would you like to see next time? Thanks for reading.
